I think about mothers and their children how much care it takes to raise a child in infancy. A baby needs, wants in most cases and demands attention. It takes a true mother whether it is her first child or not to pray for Patience. Raising children is not easy. This brings me to the subject of parents and how the cycle revolves. My mother is getting older. It takes a lot of Patience to deal with a elderly parent. I thank God that I had parents that taught me how to pray so that I Can be blessed with fruits of the spirit. I am learning that temperance is key but that dose not mean that it is easy. I am learning most importantly to ask God for forgiveness for things and to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal truth. The truth is that none of us are perfect and we all go down bumpy roads. My children will need to pray for Patience to deal with me as I age! I am sure. I can give my children material things but it wont last. To teach them how to pray and depend on God in any situation" now that will last" When I don't understand life I pray. Twenty years from now if I have nothing I can still pray!

Thank you Mom for teaching me how to pray!
