What does it mean when the bible tells us we have to pay the cost? Luke 14:28 states for which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

Accepting a ministry is not easy, Being a child of GOD is not easy. Daily we are to pick up the cross and follow Jesus. This means that we cant put anything before him. Self denial must come before we can take up the cross. Afflictions, trials, disappointments and depression. I must say that God has truly been good to me. In these past months he has surely been a strong hold in my time of need. Most importantly I am learning that the loneliness I feel at times is necessary. It draws me closer to God. No matter what I go through I know that God is not a God that he will lie or forsake those that he loves. I am human. At times I get stressed about certain situations like bills, marriage, and children but through it all I know that there is a God up high that looks down low on everything in the lives of those he loves.

I am reminded to be prayerful in everything I do. Now that I have accepted my call to the ministry by God. I am faced with new challenges but the good thing about Christ is those challenges in Jesus name are like ships with giant holes in them, they are defeated! I am learning the fruits of the spirit love, joy, peace, longsuffering, and my new most challenging one TEMPERANCE! MY GOD! This one is a difficult one but with Christ all things are possible. When I look at where I have come from and where christ is leading me to I give myself credit for nothing. It is written if you put God first he will supply your needs Matthew 6:33. I honor myself with nothing for the kingdom of God is like a ship that God entrust to those he loves to take care of it as their own but one great day he is coming back to claim what is his. Are you ready?
