" Moreover the lord saith, because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, ands making a tinkling with their feet" Isaiah 3:16

In the chapters to follow the lord destroys the daughters of Zion he destroys the people as a whole do to their disobedience .Th e lord takes away from Judea and Jerusalem because of their haughty ways. Haughty is defined as blatantly and disdainfully proud. These people were outwardly sinning knew that they were sinning and refused to stop. Basically they were telling the lord. "I know that I am sinning against you with my proud stretched necks, I am holding it high because I am telling you to your face God of creation I am cute or handsome and make no bones about it I am not gonna stop because you told me too, and I like the sin that I am in" These people were proud with stretched forth necks. Wanton eyes undisciplined, being without check or limitation, unruly, lewd, lustful, having no just foundation or provocation. These were a people that were out of control not caring about the ways and cares of the lord. These were not a people doing things with their eyes closed they had wanton eyes they were fully aware of their wrong doings and refused to change.Walking and mincing as they go which means that they were affectedly dainty or delicately walking. They were showing off like a woman with a new dress or a man with a new car. Look God I am sinning, I know I am sinning, and there is nothing you can do about it. They were teasing the lord with their sin, their ways unchanged. But if you read further you will see that that punishment was just for this people . How many of us to day are like the people of Israel outwardly doing the things we want to do and refusing to change. If you look at the world of today its no different than yesterday some of us are like the people of Israel we don't want to change we flaunt before the lord with our sin and refuse to change. Our end will be like those of Israel. We shall be a stink in the lords nose and fall by the sword.

"Thou will keep in perfect peace who's mind is stayed on the: because he trusteth in thee"

Today I don't really physically feel at peace because of someones nonsense. I am convinced that the devil uses those who are closest to you to steal your joy. It is burdensome to watch those you love make the same mistakes over and over again. I am glad that there is a wonderful GOD that See's all. I am glad that every man is accountable to GOD for himself. Only what you do for GOD will last the bible says so. This includes family members, kids, husbands and wives. I used to think that it was me or something I did. I realized that you don't have to say a word people are gonna do what they want. You don't have to do a thing. With that said whether you go to heaven or hell you reap what you sew. When the book of life is opened you are accountable for your own doings. That is what you will be judged on. I refuse to let anyone steal my joy. Jesus came so that we may have life more abundantly. Even thou I don't feel my best today I am going to rejoice despite what I feel like. I serve a great big wonderful GOD!!! AMEN
