For a righteous man falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.
Proverbs 24:16

When God says that the righteous man falls seven times this lets me know that no one is exempt from falling. At times I find myself falling from time to time, but whenever the enemy plants a seed I uproot it by leaning on Gods word. The word tells us if we don't have joy than leap for it. Gods Joy is ours for the taking but we must learn to leap for it. Even when I don't feel like it, I'm gonna praise him anyway. I will let nothing hinder me from his praise. The victory is in your praise and if I don't feel blessed in the moment I am gonna praise him until he blesses me. When I think of Job wrestling with the angel and the angel cried out" let go of me" Jacob said "not until you bless me". Today I want my praise to confuse the enemy. I will cry out" lord I wont let go, not until you bless me"

And who would patch an old garment with unshrunk cloth? For the patch shrinks and pulls away from the old cloth, leaving an even bigger hole than before
Matthew 9:16

When I think about the Pharisees and scribes fasting and praying outwardly. Keeping the law not so that it pleased God but so that man could see how holy they pretended to be. They knew nothing about God as far as eyes could see. They could not see beyond the veil. The bible states that we must walk in spirit and truth."Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name Psalm 86:11"They walked as believers of themselves and not God. They believed in the law and not the maker of it. When I became a christian I asked the lord to let my light shine so among men that it would shine bright in his truth. I hated pretenders, wanna be's. Those who could tell you about yourself but never looked in the mirror at themselves. Now I ask the lord to let me examine myself and to create in me a clean heart so that it may be Holy and acceptable unto him. I don't fear the lord leaving me. For he is a man that cannot lie. I fear my heart straying from God. Most often we feel that we are so holy that we cant fall but the bible says" take heed lest you fall" that means, anyone can fall. Let us continually pray that us and those around us be uplifted in the spirit so that we will not be as scribes and Pharisees modern day lovers of big hats and fancy cars. Let's not forget the king that road in on a donkey and not a Lexus. If it was fit for him its fit enough for us. Let us be prayerful and mindful of each other. For a house divided cannot stand. Let us follow our lord Jesus Christ and pray for those who deceitfully use us.
